She´s the one! Black diamond, the future brood bitch of our breeding, La-Fon On Fire With Lövskärs, on the picture as 5,5 weeks old.
I really can´t describe how excited I am to get this little girl, to get back to breeding Tibetan Terriers. I can´t wait for the dog shows, you can understand that I have already checked out the shows we will participate in near future. I can´t wait the time I can plan breedings, search through all the stunning stud dogs who is the one who is good enough to be father to our first litter.
Her pedigree is full of beautiful dogs from all over Europe and goes back to my breedings, her great grand mother is the beautiful Ch Lövskärs India Tsang-Pa who was exported to Slovenia and bred by my beautiful Ch Lövskärs Favo-Rit Fengri.
May the future be bright for her!

Stay tuned - we will be back!
Lövskärs last litter turned 7 years during Christmas holidays and I have been living without Tibbies for 6 years. Last 4 years I have been living with a Black Russian Terrier which unfortunately did got hip dysplasia, and my younger BRT did got subaortic stenosis so I did find me on situation with two large dogs that are no good for breeding.
I still wanted to breed dogs and as I have two BRTs that are not good for breeding, I had to find a smaller dog with a good health to be my future brood bitch. We have been thinking of several Terriers, Kerry Blues, Ceskies, Welshies, Sealyhams... but these are not so popular breeds and puppies are seldom available. My husband doesn´t like small dogs, but when I have two huge dogs at home, he has to get use to it.
Then I found out Tibetan Terrier litters on Facebook, and one suitable litter... and now we are waiting for the beautiful TT puppy!
So, stay tuned for more information. We will be back with Tibetan Terriers.

Natives getting used to Finnish way of dog life
Our beautiful natives have been in Finland 2,5 months now. They have got their vaccination boosters, deworming and thicktreatment - just for sure.
They get a short walk three times a day and they walk nicely in leash. In weekend we drive to a beautiful Fäboda beach there they can run and play at the beach and the forest - and they just love it!
Boys Senge and Sunda don´t like each other, which is quite typical with Tibetan Terriers, but they comes nicely along with girls Reba and Tuopa.
Senge loves people, and he is used to grooming. He is quite rough and noisy when playing, and first I thought he is aggressive, but then I noticed that he isn´t, he is just playing.
Sunda is more reserved to strange people and he has more watching instinct. But when you give him time to get used to strangers, he is a kind friend. Sunda has very big paws and he uses his paws like a bear when he stands in his back legs and is "boxing" with his front paws! He is just so lovely dog who loves my husband and my husband likes him a lot.
Tuopa is a small girl, very sweet but has a strong nature. She can jump very high though she is so small! She can be unleashed outside and they are so nice couple when she go out to a walk with my 9 year old son Alex.
Life with 3 Tibet imports have gone nicely, much better than I expected. They all are very friendly to my family and they love our son Alex. We will have hard times when Sunda and Tuopa will move to Sweden!

Pure Tibetans in Finland
At the end of July we got a special delivery from Tibet. After a huge paper work, it was finally true, 9 months work.
Welcome to Finland Sengge, Sunda and Tuopa!
Senge is staying with us, Sunda and Tuopa will live in Finland 4 months before they can leave to their new homeland Sweden.
We were pretty amazing how nicely they have adapt Finnish way of dog life. We were waiting troubles as we got three unsocialized adult dogs from totally different enviroment, but these small furry friends are like any western dog.
Senge likes people and children and he is very playful. Reba has grown adult and don´t always understand sucha playing. It would be great if we could let Senge run loose on the fields, as he certainly would like it, but we haven´t done that yet as we don´t know if he could come back - and he is way too expensive dog to let run all over the town!
Now we only wait how long coat he will grow. His coat is like western Tibetan Terriers has, but at the moment he is lacking undercoat. Very sweet boy :)

Summary Jan-Sep 2009
Much has happened during these 9 months.
Bocce moved to Germany in April and took some great wins there. At the say day when me and Bocce were flying to Germany, the last litter for him in Finland, was born - 2 boys and a girl, all black&tans.
We have entered several shows during summer and got some nice wins. And we got one new champion too - Ch Lövskärs Jarmila!
On the picture is one of the Bocce sons, Lövskärs Mu-Tri Tsen-Po. We are so proud of these new youngsters after Bocce!

Proud father
November 20th Boccé became a proud father of 3 males and 1 female puppy. One male is black and the other puppies are sable coloured. They are now doing fine, growing nicely, their eyes have opened and they are practising using their feet now :)
When the puppies were only few days old, Bocce went to a dog show in Jyväskylä. Judge Irina Poletaeva wrote a critique: "Compact, strong, in correct breed type, well developed scull, bit short muzzle, correct dentition, excellent topline & tail carriage, well developed rib cage, elbows fitting more closely moving, bit close behind, bit soft coat texture, excellent temperament & presentation" and he did got EXC 4 with a res.CAC.
After that, the 1st December Boccé became a father again, when Hilla gave birth to 4 males and 1 females, all sable in colour.
Unfortunately they didn´t quite understand our wishes of 2 males and several females... But we are satisfied with sable colours, which has been quite rare lately in Finland. Few of the puppies are moving abroad, some will stay in Finland, and we are trying to find a good and loving home for the rest of the boys :)
Otherways we have had a terrible weather, raining all the time and very dark, as we see the sun at this time of year only a bit more than 4 hours a day. This week we luckily got minus degrees (celsius) and a tiny bit of snow, and the weather forecasts promises more snow next week. Snow is always very expected guest, as the dogs keeps much much more cleaner when we have snow.
Yesterday we did go out to the beach with Boccé and Reba, and they enjoyed it very much. I have vacation whole December, so I hope we have time to go out to the beach several times this month. Dogs are not allowed to go to the beach during summertime, so we occupie beaches in winter in stead :)

More shows
We have been in two shows lately with Boccé.
First in Seinäjoki Int show with a result of Exc 4. The judge Hans v.d. Berg said "Nice in type, 20 months, excellent temperament, a bit lower on legs, nice head shape, good front and rear, short back, the tail is high set, coat texture could be better, he moves with drive". In first picture is Boccé and Falamandus J´Ara-Ki Khaki.
The second show was held on Kajaani, and we got that weekend the first show. We did change the handler this time, and my sister Pia did expertly handle him as a BOS and he did get his first CAC. Well done :)
The judge Paavo Mattila did write " Beautiful male with a good proportions and good head, beautiful neck, excellent outline, balanced body, very good head, beautiful coat and tail, moves well, good temperament". He did have hard choice for BOB, but Boccé was acting then like a youngster, he would have wanted to play with the beautiful girl - maybe she did smell good, as she had finished her season just before :)
The trip home was horrible, it was very slippery and snowing a lot - you barely saw nothing. But luckily this was only the first 40-60 minutes, and the rest of the 3,5 hours did go well - and no snow at home :/
The next shows are 22. November in Jyväskylä Int, 13. December in Helsinki and 21 and 22. December in Vilnius Lithuania.
