Proud father

November 20th Boccé became a proud father of 3 males and 1 female puppy. One male is black and the other puppies are sable coloured. They are now doing fine, growing nicely, their eyes have opened and they are practising using their feet now :)

When the puppies were only few days old, Bocce went to a dog show in Jyväskylä. Judge Irina Poletaeva wrote a critique: "Compact, strong, in correct breed type, well developed scull, bit short muzzle, correct dentition, excellent topline & tail carriage, well developed rib cage, elbows fitting more closely moving, bit close behind, bit soft coat texture, excellent temperament & presentation" and he did got EXC 4 with a res.CAC.

After that, the 1st December Boccé became a father again, when Hilla gave birth to 4 males and 1 females, all sable in colour.
Unfortunately they didn´t quite understand our wishes of 2 males and several females... But we are satisfied with sable colours, which has been quite rare lately in Finland. Few of the puppies are moving abroad, some will stay in Finland, and we are trying to find a good and loving home for the rest of the boys :)

Otherways we have had a terrible weather, raining all the time and very dark, as we see the sun at this time of year only a bit more than 4 hours a day. This week we luckily got minus degrees (celsius) and a tiny bit of snow, and the weather forecasts promises more snow next week. Snow is always very expected guest, as the dogs keeps much much more cleaner when we have snow.
Yesterday we did go out to the beach with Boccé and Reba, and they enjoyed it very much. I have vacation whole December, so I hope we have time to go out to the beach several times this month. Dogs are not allowed to go to the beach during summertime, so we occupie beaches in winter in stead :)

More shows

We have been in two shows lately with Boccé.
First in Seinäjoki Int show with a result of Exc 4. The judge Hans v.d. Berg said "Nice in type, 20 months, excellent temperament, a bit lower on legs, nice head shape, good front and rear, short back, the tail is high set, coat texture could be better, he moves with drive". In first picture is Boccé and Falamandus J´Ara-Ki Khaki.

The second show was held on Kajaani, and we got that weekend the first show. We did change the handler this time, and my sister Pia did expertly handle him as a BOS and he did get his first CAC. Well done :)
The judge Paavo Mattila did write " Beautiful male with a good proportions and good head, beautiful neck, excellent outline, balanced body, very good head, beautiful coat and tail, moves well, good temperament". He did have hard choice for BOB, but Boccé was acting then like a youngster, he would have wanted to play with the beautiful girl - maybe she did smell good, as she had finished her season just before :)

The trip home was horrible, it was very slippery and snowing a lot - you barely saw nothing. But luckily this was only the first 40-60 minutes, and the rest of the 3,5 hours did go well - and no snow at home :/

The next shows are 22. November in Jyväskylä Int, 13. December in Helsinki and 21 and 22. December in Vilnius Lithuania.

First show

Yesterday was the first dog show in Finland for Boccé.
We did argue with the judge can a dog under 2 years be in Champion class. Dogs can´t be Finnish Champion before they are 2 years old, so the judge did not realise that this rule is not in all countries. So, Boccé did got Very Good :/
Otherways he did behave well, showed himself nicely even the floor was very slippery.

The judgment is: A bit low-legged, well angulated in front and rear, a bit small paws, slightly soft coat, moves a little close behind but with a good drive, good temperament.

After we managed to get home on the evening, I had to go to help in labour for my friend, or her dog actually. Now there is 4 sable with more or less white marks and one tricolour, 3 males and 2 females. Puppies looked pretty nice and I look forward to see them growing - you never know if I will buy one bitch there if there is a good one.

Even Fengri looks to be pregnant. She has 4 weeks of pregnancy today. :)

Soon to shows

Oh my gosh, first Finnish show for Boccé is on Saturday!! How exciting!
Unfortunately the judge was changed on that show, but we will enter anyway. Boccé has been eating well and he has got a bit more weight - and we have three more days to get more weight. Actually, I found the secret food weapon on Friday ;)

Now we should take some training before the dog show, so he would have patient to run nicely :D

Fengri will have this week her 4th week of pregnancy. No signs yet, except she has been more close to me lately and this week she has been maybe a little selective of her eating habits. Let´s see...
Reba is really false pregnant at this time, and she mostly sleeps at the crate, and is angry for dogs passing by. I am not sure if I should spaying her, I am afraid that she will be more pushy and dominant to other bitches when the estrogen level will decline. I have seen when one dominant bitch couldn´t live with other bitches in kennel after spaying.

Our Fengri daughter India, Slovenian & Croatian & Finnish Champion Lövskärs India Tsang-Pa has been very successfull lately - past we weeks. First she did won BOB and BIS Slovenian Tibetan Breeds Specialty Show and two weeks later she was BOB in Hungarian Specialty Show!! In European Winner Show in Budapest Hungary, she ended up as a Vice European Winner, with a res-CACIB. I am really proud of her!

I really am waiting for extraordinary puppies out of Fengri and Boccé.

Next shows for Boccé: October 18th in Hämeenlinna with 18 entries (CAC) and October 26th in Seinäjoki with 28 entries (CACIB).

More girls

We got back one of our offspring, 14 months old girl Dharma, Lövskärs Jampa.
Boccé has wonderfull days with 3 girls - you can only imagine!

Boccé also mated successfully Hilla, on friday 26th September.

Boccé likes to run on the fields chasing Reba, and Reba likes to run away and be chased.

In this time of year we got so much old leafs on street and garden, and Boccé is taking everyone of them inside. I didn´t remember this is the way you have a young Tibetan Terrier in a "between-coats" :)
Fengri is soon hopefully 3 weeks pregnant. I really hope she don´t give birth to 10 puppies as they will born and grow during the winter - or I hope we don´t get so cold winter.

We try to find a new home for Dharma. I think she could stay with us, but my husband don´t agree. My husband likes more those native Tibetan Terriers as they are more "dogs" in temperament. But if we don´t find a good home, she will stay ;)

Boccé will also have his first show in Finland 18. October and second show in 26. October. We are so excited!

Girlfriend

Yesterday evening after work me and Boccé drove 1,5 hours to meet a new girlfriend. Hilla, the girlfriend, didn´t like the idea yet, so we took her to visit us for a few days. We will try again today, on friday and hopefully we will return her to her own home on saturday.

This week I also heard that we are going to get back one girl from Fengri´s previous litter, but hopefully we have found a new home to her already. I will pick her up on next week.

Boccé has been eating quite selectivily during Fengri´s heat, but now I found a good food he likes - porridge and raw meat :p
He has also been able to run loose on the fields with Reba, and you should see how much fun he has! He almost gets Reba catched - Reba has always run fast, but maybe she has getting older OR Boccé really is fast too.
Hopefully I would remember to take my camera to field trip someday.

Puppy fever

On the same day Boccé arrived, our Fengri did get her season - 2 months earlier than expected. We have planned another male for her, but as she did begin so early, we didn´t manage to get a new eye examination for the male.
On thursday 18th September Fengri was mated by Boccé, so after 9 weeks we hopefully has puppies :)

We are very excited of this litter. Fengri has two litters before, and I am very pleased of the quality of her offspring. As Boccé is of the same type as Fengri and her offspring, I don´t think this litter will be a dissapointment for me!

Boccé in Finland

I would like to introduce our special guest from the USA. Welcome to Finland AM&CAN CH Arkeden N Kiskades Havin A Ball.
Thank you Jackie Faust and Sally Birgl to letting us have Boccé for a few months.

Boccé came to us on monday 8th September. He is a super boy, like he always have lived with us. He is very gorgeus, and I think he will have a successfull show carreer in Finland.
