Natives getting used to Finnish way of dog life

Our beautiful natives have been in Finland 2,5 months now. They have got their vaccination boosters, deworming and thicktreatment - just for sure.

They get a short walk three times a day and they walk nicely in leash. In weekend we drive to a beautiful Fäboda beach there they can run and play at the beach and the forest - and they just love it!

Boys Senge and Sunda don´t like each other, which is quite typical with Tibetan Terriers, but they comes nicely along with girls Reba and Tuopa.

Senge loves people, and he is used to grooming. He is quite rough and noisy when playing, and first I thought he is aggressive, but then I noticed that he isn´t, he is just playing.

Sunda is more reserved to strange people and he has more watching instinct. But when you give him time to get used to strangers, he is a kind friend. Sunda has very big paws and he uses his paws like a bear when he stands in his back legs and is "boxing" with his front paws! He is just so lovely dog who loves my husband and my husband likes him a lot.

Tuopa is a small girl, very sweet but has a strong nature. She can jump very high though she is so small! She can be unleashed outside and they are so nice couple when she go out to a walk with my 9 year old son Alex.

Life with 3 Tibet imports have gone nicely, much better than I expected. They all are very friendly to my family and they love our son Alex. We will have hard times when Sunda and Tuopa will move to Sweden!

Pure Tibetans in Finland

At the end of July we got a special delivery from Tibet. After a huge paper work, it was finally true, 9 months work.
Welcome to Finland Sengge, Sunda and Tuopa!
Senge is staying with us, Sunda and Tuopa will live in Finland 4 months before they can leave to their new homeland Sweden.
We were pretty amazing how nicely they have adapt Finnish way of dog life. We were waiting troubles as we got three unsocialized adult dogs from totally different enviroment, but these small furry friends are like any western dog.
Senge likes people and children and he is very playful. Reba has grown adult and don´t always understand sucha playing. It would be great if we could let Senge run loose on the fields, as he certainly would like it, but we haven´t done that yet as we don´t know if he could come back - and he is way too expensive dog to let run all over the town!

Now we only wait how long coat he will grow. His coat is like western Tibetan Terriers has, but at the moment he is lacking undercoat. Very sweet boy :)
